ive come to my senses that ive become senseless.

i absolutely adore these boots. on my recent trip to bali, i stumbled across a tiny leather/tailor shop in a random back alley in semenyak. i was magnetically drawn to all the cowboy boots (my weakness) and immediately fell in love with the owner, Devon - what a champ. i sat down with him and told him i wanted slouchy cowboy-style boots with a stacked cuban heel, raised platform sole and a slightly rounded toe (but not too rounded), all in the buttery soft leather i picked out. i was nervous that i was too specific and that i would end up with something that looked nothing like i wanted. but then, 3 days later, Devon made all my dreams come true. i cant wait to go back and commission millions of leather items - hopefully i will be back at the end of the year.

in conclusion, Devon = God.

just returned from my power trip to sunny sydney. got some great buys, some great shots, walked til my feet ached (they will never forgive me, even if i buy them miu miu mary-janes), chased some ibises and had a goddamn ball. until we meet again, sydney...

oh and its really fun to sit in windowsills. rumi always does it so it must be cool.

so alone i keep the wolves at bay.

so it is my last week of this university semester and i still have a huge amount of assignments and essays to write, BUT... i am going to be getting off this rock very soon. goodbye cold australia, hello beautiful vietnam and cambodia! it will soon be my birthday so instead of a party, im fleeing the country.
i am going to be travelling to hanoi, halong bay, ho chi minh city, phnom penh and siam reap - if anyone has any tips or must-sees, please let me know.

i cant wait for cold rolls and monsoonal weather.

a night in sydney: meeting julian casablancas, seeing my bf's brother drum for julian, meeting one half of ksubi and bambi, getting photographed by mark from the cobrasnake and stealing his hat, delicious pizzas at hugo's and buckets of fun.

so most of my jewelry is either vintage or collected on my travels. i rarely buy any other jewelry (although im drooling over erin wasson x lowluv and have already got a few pieces) and i am almost always drawn to silver jewelry with ethic detailing or a rustic feel. i guess i prefer pieces that remind me of somthing, someone or somewhere.
